Job Description: Front End Developer, ShopifyThe Developer is responsible for implementing and upholding best practices across our Shopify site and writing high quality, clean, performance driven code. The primary responsibility of the Shopify Developer:Shopify Maintenance & Development:Develop and support the build of best in class, responsive web applications for desktop and mobile.Implement a variety of development tasks including app installments, page and template updates, new page builds, SEO and ADA development compliance, and QAServe as the primary resource for QA and testing.Translate Figma designs into code.Partner with design and ecommerce team to troubleshoot roadblocks and ideating functionality and UX solves.Stay abreast of changing technologies, platforms, software, applications.DTC Technical Support:Facilitate the integration of social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) with Shopify. This may include 3rd party toolsSupport and optimize our customer tools as well as deploy and integrate new customer support and engagement tools, such as live chat, chatbots, and email automation platforms to enhance communication with DTC customers, provide real-time assistance, and personalize interactions based on customer preferences and history.Oversee the integration and maintenance of e-commerce tools with other systems within the organization, such as inventory management, CRM, and accounting systems to ensure seamless operations and data flow, enabling efficient order processing, inventory management, and customer support. Support with the technical implementation of features such as product recommendations, customer reviews, and social media integration to enhance the DTC experience.Tool support for the following integrated software into Shopify - Klaviyo, Loop, Gorgious, Meta, Google/Product feed management - ensuring consistency between feed and siteIdentify opportunities for innovation and optimization in DTC integrations and digital marketing programs. This could include evaluating emerging technologies, conducting A/B testing, and implementing improvements based on customer feedback and market trends.Experience + Desired Qualities:2-5+ year(s) of development experience or in-depth tactile development training and education.Knowledge of Shopify, Shopify Plus, API's and Plugins.Proficiency and understanding of HTML 5, CSS3, Javascript.Experience with GIT and version control platforms.Be coachable, adaptable and eager to learn.A leadership mindset.Ability to work and communicate in a deadline oriented, at times fast paced environment.Be exceptionally communicative and accountable.An artful balance of thoroughness and detail with efficiency and agility.Ability to adhere to deadlines.Kind, collaborative and energetic.Nice To Have:Previous work experience in a related environment.Experience working with brands in the fashion, beauty home and lifestyle verticals.Ability to support with - GA tagging updates, Global-e, Celigo, Secure data Storage/transfer hub (PII)
