**The Site**:
Suzano is an Industrial Site, dedicated to industrialization, launch and commercial manufacturing activities of pharma drug products for General Medicines & CHC GBUs.
It is located in the region of Sao-Paulo, in Brazil.
The site is part of Europe and International Cluster, in IA GEN MED organization.
**The mission**:
The Suzano site head provides leadership and oversight to site's teams to perform well on the multiple dimensions of industrial excellence (safety, quality, supply, cost, involvement, projects).
The Site Head enables the right environment for people to collaborate, grow and develop their career within the company and leads the social agenda of the site in relation with local elected union representatives.
**The main **responsibilities**:
- Ensures the best HSE practices are in place and applied across the site, supported by a deep safety-oriented culture at all levels and with a focus on sustainability and mínimal environmental impact
- Enables high quality product supply from the site, with on-time in-full delivery to customers, through a constant focus on compliance of all operations (e.g.
manufacturing, testing, release) to our dossiers, procedures, and cGMPs.
- Supports industrial excellence focus across all departments, with ambitous goals toward best in class performance, delivering results and continuous improvements in terms of cycle time reduction, spending optimization and production cost, supported by Sanofi Manufacturing Systems good practices and benchmarks
- Develops Suzano site master plan and long-term industrial plan (including risk management and strategic workforce planning) in alignment with Sanofi's General Medicines strategy, and leads on-time on-budget execution of site projects
- Nurtures a commitment and focus on employee engagement and development at all levels, developing talent and succession plans, modeling and promoting attributes of Sanofi's Play to Win culture
- Leads site's social agenda (incl.
negotiations) with the workers council in partnership with local HR, covering people & organization topics and, when applicable, represents Suzano in different internal and external instances.
About you
- **Experience**:
- Master's degree in Life Sciences and/or Engineering
- Experience in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, incl.
biologic production
- Experience in people management
- Experience in operational roles, ideally as Site, Production or Quality head
- Good functional knowledge on industrial business processes incl Safety, Quality and Performance
- Good exposure to change management and transversal collaboration (e.g., projects)
- Experience in a global function role (e.g., Quality, SMS, E&M) and/or in end-to-end strategic position (e.g., Industrial Product Leader) is a plus

- Production & Operation management expertise in a pharmaceutical environment, with good command of performance KPI and budget setting, monitoring and goal achievement, incl.
Lean and Supply Chain principles
- Thorough knowledge of EHS requirements as well as of cGMP and Quality regulations, incl.
successful demonstrated safety achievements and good track-record in an EMA / FDA environment (PAI and GMP-inspections)
- Drug substance production and testing process knowledge, incl.
biologics
