As a Site Procurement Manager for the Amazon Fulfillment Center team in Nova Santa Rita, RS, you will serve as the bridge between Global Procurement and the site leadership. You will own the site's procurement operation responsibilities, including vendor management of service and goods, purchase order management, and inventory management.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesServe as the site's procurement subject matter expert, providing strategic support and operational oversight for goods and services.Manage the site's non-inventory procurement, including planning, ordering, and controlling stocks of package materials.Lead and develop a team of non-inventory associates to ensure the building is properly resourced and set up for success.Oversee the janitorial services contract, ensuring vendor performance aligns with agreed SLAs.Manage procurement-to-pay processes, including receiving and vendor payment issue resolution.Partner with Finance, internal customers, and suppliers to align budgets, track performance, and implement innovative solutions.Drive safety compliance within the procurement team's day-to-day activities.Develop relationships across the building and network to share and implement best practices.A Day in the LifeWork is done in a warehouse environment that requires frequent walking around the building. Due to the interaction with Global Teams, English is a mandatory Basic Qualification.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree.Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).Experience with performance and people management.Supply chain and Operations experience.Experience with supplier or vendor relationship management.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in procurement.Experience in Coupa or other financial management/procurement software.Experience leading and developing an operation team.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
