Main Responsibilities and Duties: - Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure data solutions using the Snowflake platform.
- Lead data modeling efforts to ensure the data architecture is optimized for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Write complex SQL queries and develop scripts in Python to facilitate data manipulation and analysis.
- Implement and maintain ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate these into technical specifications.
- Guide the selection of appropriate AWS or GCP services to support the data architecture, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to Snowflake.
- Establish and enforce data governance and compliance standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and new technologies, incorporating them into the infrastructure as appropriate.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional certification in Snowflake and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data architecture, with proven expertise in the Snowflake platform.
- Significant experience with data modeling, SQL, and ETL processes.
- Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language.
