About the role:
Seeking newer-in-career Associate SOC Analyst to monitor and triage security alerts according to our security and compliance guidelines and procedures. As a member of the SOC team, you will play a role in protecting Wiley's technology and information security systems from security incidents and helping to resolve incidents in a timely and secure manner.
How you will make an impact:
Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
Identify and prioritize security incidents per guidelines and standards.
Conduct initial analysis per guidelines and standards.
Escalate incidents to Tier 2 or 3 engineers as needed.
Document incidents and actions taken to resolve them.
Assist in maintaining and updating security tools and documentation.
What we are looking for:
Basic understanding of network security principles.
Familiarity with Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) tools and log analysis.
Knowledge of common attack vectors and indicators of compromise (IoCs).
Strong communication and documentation skills.
