Role Help develop and optimize both clients and our social media strategy to increase online presence and improve marketing and sales. The social media specialist works closely with our social media team, including community manager and graphic designer to manage all social media channels with daily postings while engaging in our online community. Responsibilities Further develop and implement social media strategy based on processes Create, edit, optimize, schedule, post, manage content across multiple platforms and clients Manage all internal social media direct messaging Comment, respond, and engage with our online community Report on all important social media KPIs for PFG and clients Provide constructive feedback to team Communication with influencers to create and manage a strong network Research and reach out to brands and personalities to form relationships Research trends and topics to be more effective with posting Managing accounts by unfollowing ghost, bot, etc followers Tag media and clients in live link posts of press on social media Analyze differences of behavior across platforms and market accordingly Spend 1-2 hours per day reaching out to brands on the applicable platforms Social media audits for potential clients Post weekly client wins Find influencers for clients if the need arises Other responsibilities include: Joining weekly calls, weekly one on ones, tracking your time, using Slack for team communication and submitting a weekly report Results Consistent quality postings on multiple media platforms Increase brand awareness through follower count, reach of posts, mentions and shares Generate new leads and help grow revenue Build and maintain high engagement Build and maintain online community around each client Maintain a consistent voice and branding based on each company Get community manager approval of all content for the week, created in advance Drive traffic from social toward brand objectives Team member's and client's databases kept up to date Requirements Follow the Client-centric mission and Company tenets Work US hours Experience running social media and strategic knowledge Ability to manage 30+ different social media accounts Understanding of SEO, web and social traffic metrics Capable in graphic design creation Able to consistently understand the intent and vision of the CEO, work as a sounding board for the CEO with social media Must be willing to take a sense of ownership and pride in your work performance as it relates to the company success Ability to set goals and follow achievable timelines to execute tasks Ability to solve problems with critical thinking as well as work in a team environment Strong sense of organization and time management High level communication skills and responsiveness Be flexible enough to respond to current events and new clients This job description is not all-inclusive and certain activities, duties or responsibilities may be required of the employee as needed.
