Combining the Company's award-winning training with NINJIO PHISH, a natively integrated phishing simulator that allows customers to test and quantify human vulnerability safely and proactively, gives the organizations that NINJIO serves a feature-rich Cybersecurity Awareness Solution.Position DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Software Architect to drive the continuous improvement and innovation of our deployed platform and codebase. This role will focus on optimizing the use of AWS services, enhancing automated deployment pipelines, and implementing architectural improvements to better leverage cloud-native solutions. The Software Architect will work closely with the current development team, driving the transition towards a more scalable and efficient infrastructure while maintaining the existing feature development timeline. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AWS services, automated deployment, and be a persuasive leader capable of aligning the team with their architectural vision.Responsibilities:Architectural Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive architectural plan to restructure both the cloud platform and codebase, focusing on leveraging AWS managed services (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS) and maximizing automated deployment efficiency.Cloud Platform Optimization: Lead efforts to transition existing infrastructure to a more cloud-native architecture, optimizing the use of AWS services to reduce operational overhead and increase scalability.Automation and Deployment: Enhance and implement automated deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools. Ensure that deployment processes are streamlined, reducing manual intervention and potential bottlenecks.Team Leadership: Guide and mentor the development team, persuading and directing them toward implementing architectural changes while ensuring they continue to deliver on existing product roadmaps and feature development.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with DevOps, development, and product teams to ensure alignment between the architectural vision and business goals. Communicate architectural decisions and their impact clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Technical Governance: Establish coding standards, architectural best practices, and system design guidelines to ensure long-term maintainability and performance of the platform.Self-directed: This role will require understanding the existing platform and how it is both deployed to and operates. Must be able to independently read, analyze and understand the existing architecture with minimal hand-holding.Requirements:Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.Experience:7+ years of experience in software architecture, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, cloud-based solutions.Deep expertise in AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.Experience with docker, automated CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).Technical Skills:Strong experience with the tech stack: MySQL, MongoDB, Python, Node, React, RabbitMQ, Django, Docker.Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure design using AWS, including services such as Lambda, RDS, EC2, S3, and ECS/EKS.Proficient in microservices architecture, API design, and serverless computing.Soft Skills:Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to persuade and guide teams toward architectural improvements.Fluency in English required.Fluency in Hebrew a plus, but not required.Problem-solving mindset with a focus on scalability and performance optimization.Ability to balance long-term architectural improvements with short-term product delivery needs.Preferred Qualifications:AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus.Experience in leading teams through major technical transitions or infrastructure overhauls.Previous experience in a startup environment or fast-paced development cycles.Ideal Candidate History:Cloud Architecture Expertise:Extensive experience in designing and restructuring cloud platforms using AWS and associated services.Led multiple projects focused on migrating monolithic architectures to more scalable and modern cloud-native solutions.Hands-On Development:Strong background as a full-stack developer, with hands-on experience across the stack in Python, Node, React, MySQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and Docker.Prior success in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automating deployment processes, improving efficiency and reducing downtime.Leadership and Change Management:Demonstrated success in leading teams through significant architectural transitions while maintaining feature development velocity.Proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, gaining buy-in for architectural changes.Team-Oriented:Experience working closely with development teams to mentor and influence them, ensuring that best practices and architectural changes are successfully adopted.Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and functions (e.g., product, DevOps) to ensure that architecture aligns with business goals and product vision.Compensation: Salary of $90-100k
