Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and support production quality automated trading strategiesApply technology and programming to automate complex trading logicBe or become an expert in market microstructure informationUnderstand at the highest levels tick data dissemination and protocol communication with world-class electronic exchangesBuild and maintain the connection between trading models and execution softwareCreate tools, verification processes, and risk management protections to assure safe tradingMentor, manage or train junior developers to complete projects and learn all facets of trading Qualifications 3+ years of experience building software for trading or similar complex software systemsBachelor's, Masters or Ph.D. degree in any scientific field or FinanceHave the capability to understand quickly what is being explained and think for himself/herselfKnowledge of markets and financial products is a plusObsessed with creating clean 100% bug-free softwarePassion for mathematics and software applied to the marketsComfort working within a collaborative, team-oriented fast-changing environment which fosters free-flowing creativityStrong work ethic, compliance, and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job doneExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTraining or demonstrated ability to learn languages such as C++, R, Lua, and/or Python.
