Software Engineer In Test

Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Company: PowDevs Location: Latin America (Remote) Contract: Contractor Tech stack: Selenium and Robot Framework Responsibilities: Collaborate with software developers and QA engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans. Execute automated and manual tests to ensure the software meets the specified requirements. Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies. Work closely with the development team to debug and resolve issues. Continuously improve test processes, identify testing gaps, and propose solutions. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase. Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices for software testing. Minimum requirements Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as SDET or similar role in software development and testing. Working experience using Selenium and Robot Framework Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium or similar. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices. Advanced English.
