**Software Engineering Tech Lead (Brazil)**:
This is an opportunity to join one of the most advanced and fastest growing tech companies in the logistics and supply chain space.
Having secured $12.7M in Series A funding last year, we are in hyper-growth mode to support our expanding customer and product base.
In the last year alone, we've seen our revenue stream, customer base, and digital activity grow by 5x!
This position will be an integral part of our engineering team as we embark on the next phase of our growth.
This is a unique role that combines both technical leadership/strategic vision with the potential to dive into hands-on development.
**Responsibilities**:
- Become the Parade technical expert.
Deeply understand Parade's full-stack internal technical architecture.
- Architecture net-new product and features.
Re-invent existing services to operate at scale.
- Communicate daily directly with our Head of Product and exec team to ensure product scope is translated well to technical execution.
- Work closely with full-time engineers and contractors to build and scale Parade's core product.
- Lead and manage the roadmap development for a full engineering pod (5 people)
- Perform both design and code reviews, and adhere to Agile rituals
- Be an important voice in forming engineering culture and process at Parade
**What Success Looks Like in Your First Few Months**:
- Architect and build a data clustering pipeline that generates suggestions for our entire trucking network, scaling this from 10,000 to 500,000 companies
- Work with product and design to introduce a new booking flow for our online platform
- Maximize developer productivity and introduce best practices for us to build scalable code
**Basic Qualifications**:
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 5+ years working with Python/Django
- 3+ years working with NoSQL and relational databases
- Professional experience building and architecting distributed systems that are fault-tolerant, highly-available, and scalable
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to develop software solutions that exceed customer expectations
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Professional experience working with FastAPI
- Professional experience working with Typescript/React/NextJS
- Startup experience
- Experience in the logistics/freight industry is not required, but it is a plus.
