About the project:
The
Senior Testing Engineer
is a senior-level contributor responsible for overseeing and implementing the testing processes to ensure the highest quality of software applications.
This role requires expertise in automated testing and a proactive approach to planning, designing, and executing test strategies.
You will be able to:
Test Strategy Development:
Develop comprehensive test strategies that cover all stages of the software development lifecycle, ensuring thorough testing of functionalities and system integrity.
Optimize testing processes by incorporating best practices and methodologies that align with project goals and timelines.
Test Planning and Execution:
Create detailed test plans that define the scope, approach, resources, and schedule of intended testing activities.
Execute test plans meticulously, ensuring all aspects of the software are rigorously tested for functionality, performance, and security.
Automation and Manual Testing:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes.
Apply manual testing techniques where necessary to cover areas not suitable for automation.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
Report bugs and errors to development teams and follow through on resolutions to ensure they are implemented effectively.
Tool and Technology Proficiency:
Utilize and manage various testing tools and technologies, such as Selenium, Jenkins, and Cucumber, to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and methodologies to continuously improve the testing suite.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of product specifications and expectations.
Communicate test progress, results, and insights effectively to all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding across teams.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, results, and metrics to track testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Generate detailed reports on testing outcomes, including insights and recommendations for future improvements.
What will help you succeed in this role:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ Years of experience working with Automation Testing.
5+ Years of experience working with Manual Testing.
2+ Years of experience working with Selenium.
2+ Years of experience working with Cucumber.
2+ Years of experience working with Jenkins.
Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients.
