Hosting events of varying sizes is a key aspect of their business.
Project Overview
The project involves creating a new Events Management System from scratch, replacing a legacy version.
The system must be highly reliable, capable of handling large events (~5000 attendees), and include features such as event information, subscription, agenda, payments, and potentially a matchmaking component using ML.
Team
The architect will coordinate with technical and functional stakeholders and provide guidance and coaching to team members, especially team leaders.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Solutions Architect with strong technical expertise in .Net, microservices, and Azure Cloud.
Experience in Events Management, Marketing, and the Travel industry is highly desirable.
The architect will define the architecture, coordinate with internal teams, and participate in code reviews, providing feedback and coaching.
Responsibilities
Design and implement a microservices-based architecture on Azure Cloud to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance for large-scale events.
Define the technical vision of the project, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, third-party vendors, and internal teams, to define requirements and provide technical expertise.
Participate in code reviews, providing feedback and coaching to team members, especially team leaders.
Oversee key system functions such as user authentication, subscription management (including payments), and attendee data analysis to optimize event participation and interactions.
Requirements
Proven experience in microservices architecture and Azure Cloud deployment.
Experience with identity providers and standards such as OAuth 2, OpenID Connect, Azure AD B2C, Auth0, etc.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical teams, clients, and vendors.
Experience with events management systems or industries such as marketing and travel is highly desirable.
Ability to design solutions that handle large-scale events and deliver seamless attendee experiences.
Fluent English and strong soft skills with decision-making ability.
