Our services include negotiating with providers according to specific policies to achieve the best contractual conditions while ensuring internal customer satisfaction. This position requires a thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies, and their application in a concrete organizational context.
Partner with the best
As a Jr Buyer, you will execute sourcing activities in line with business goals and initiatives, supporting the sourcing team with daily activities and implementing improvements. In this role, you will use your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for yourself and others, and effect short-term initiatives and long-term departmental improvements.
As a Jr. Buyer, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring supplier payment performance to avoid supply chain disruptions,
Managing onboarding processes and maintenance of supplier and customer master data,
Controlling Purchases Services for the Direct Sourcing team,
Supporting the team in the control and management of NCR's,
Assisting in controlling receiving/inventory goals,
Providing fulfilment support (focus on logistics and customs),
Requesting and controlling the opening of tax periods,
Developing new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting,
Working together with high-level individuals within the business,
Contributing to projects as a team member and/or leading small projects,
Working in accordance with the company's quality policy and procedures.
Reporting any non-compliance, concerns, and risk situations to the product/process/service.
Being committed to quality objectives and seeking continuous improvement of product/process/service.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, administration, or a related field,
Have experience in procurement, sourcing, and/or international logistics,
Possess an advanced level of English,
Have strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel is mandatory),
Have experience with data and indicators analysis,
Exhibit a strong sense of urgency and priority,
Possess strong oral, written, verbal, and electronic communication skills,
Have analytical and problem-solving skills,
Be able to work independently, self-motivate, and influence others,
Demonstrate a technical mindset and attention to detail,
Be able to cope with multiple complex situations daily.
Knowledge of Oracle/ERP is desired,
Previous knowledge or use of Power BI is desired,
Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment, particularly in the Oil and Gas sector, is preferred but not essential.
