JOB MISSION Provide accurate and timely financial information for reporting, compliance, and commercial decisions in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina.
Identify opportunities to improve sales, margin, and cost savings.
Ensure internal controls and compliance with local regulations.
Oversee accurate accounting entries and timely financial reporting to HQ, including statutory and group reports in accordance with best practices.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Business: Analyze financial data to support business decisions and act as a commercial partner.
Identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
Prepare presentations for the region or corporate as needed.
Manage relationships with attorneys and landlords regarding contracts and renovations.
Accounting: Oversee the preparation and review of annual statutory accounts by BPOs.
Supervise monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings per IAS-IFRS standards.
Ensure compliance with Ferragamo Group's accounting and financial manuals.
Supervise revenue, expenses, payroll entries, invoices, and bank reconciliations.
Oversee cost of sales, margin, and profitability analysis.
Supervise tax calculations, credit risk control, and treasury management.
Validate and authorize purchase orders in LINX.
Ensure compliance with fiscal obligations in each country.
Supervise payroll processing and reporting.
Report personnel issues to the LATAM HR Director.
Supervise Transfer Price Study and external audits.
Lead system improvements (LINX).
Financial Planning: Submit annual budgets, forecasts, business plans, and CapEx as per Group Planning guidelines.
Coordinate with Commercial and Marketing teams for data consolidation.
Monitor budget execution and compliance, explaining variances.
Prepare financial data for new store contracts and renovations.
Finance: Approve payments on bank platforms.
Manage bank relationships (guarantees, investments, loans).
Prepare cash flow projections (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
Oversee intercompany payments.
Internal Control: Ensure implementation of policies and procedures across all entities.
Assist with internal/external audits and follow up on recommendations.
Supervise inventory control across all POS and entities.
Legal: Oversee corporate legal matters for Brazil, Chile, and Argentina.
Review and negotiate third-party contracts with Regional HQ support.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements, policies, and norms.
Manage company insurance policies per Group guidelines.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS Experience: 5-7 years in finance, with expertise in financial planning, accounting, and reporting, preferably in retail or luxury sectors.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, LINX), IAS/IFRS, and advanced Excel.
Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish/Portuguese.
Knowledge of Regulations: Strong understanding of tax and labor laws in South America.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and financial analysis capabilities.
Communication: Ability to present complex financial data to diverse stakeholders.
Project Management: Experience managing financial planning for new stores/expansions.
