Position Summary

Think and work strategically, capture new opportunities, be responsible from leading initiatives and projects since early stages, going through negotiations, formalization processes, planning, execution and follow-up

Manage different project types, including software development, clinical research and multidisciplinary commercial projects, with internal areas and strategic partners.
Role and Responsibilities
1.
Capture new business opportunities considering the entire ecosystem: Samsung strategy, regional demands, competitor moves, new markets and technology trends.
2.
Think and work strategically, continuously evaluating initiatives, from technical and business perspectives, having in mind cost-effectiveness, revenue potential and brand reputation.
3.
Foster and develop relationship with customers and external partners from industry, academy, government and startups.
4.
Work along with internal areas, such as Technical, Business, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Purchasing, HR, IT, in benefit of the projects.
5.
Manage projects of different areas, including software development, clinical research and multidisciplinary commercial projects.
6.
Act as Product Owner (PO) in the scope of software development projects along with R&D partners.
7.
Manage scope/requirements, schedule, budget, risks and product quality.
8.
Create/revise several sort of documents: Project plan, Work plan, Contract, Request for Proposal, Non Disclosure Agreement, Memorandum of Understanding.
9.
Conduct operational activities: meetings, generation of repots, approvals, paperwork, etc.
Skills and Qualifications
- Solid skills and proved experience of project management in advanced and meaningful set of multidisciplinary projects.
- Experience in management of open innovation projects with external partners/customers.
- Experience in dealing with all phases of a project, including opportunities prospection, design thinking/co-creation activities, feasibility analysis, proof of concepts execution, contract negotiations, project planning (scope, schedule, budget, risks), project execution, tracking and closure, customer support.
- Knowledge in software engineering and software development process.
- Team-working skills and a collaborative approach to work.
- Interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written.
- Negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Analytic skills and process oriented.
- Fluent Portuguese and English skills.
- (Nice to have) Experience/knowledge in clinical trial and/or health projects.
