We're looking for talented scientists who can leverage ML, Generative AI, and other techniques to design, implement, fine-tune, and evangelize state-of-the-art solutions for never-before-solved problems.Key Job ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop robust and scalable AI solutions for business problems.Interact with customers directly to understand the business problem, helping and aiding them in the implementation of their ML ecosystem.Effectively use Foundation Models available on Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker to meet our customer's performance needs.Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of historical data to help automate and optimize key processes.Strong communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to convey rigorous mathematical concepts and considerations to non-experts.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment.Mentor and develop members on the team.About the TeamThe AI Delivery Team at Professional Services helps AWS customers accelerate the use of AI to solve business and operational challenges and promote innovation in their organization.The team helps customers imagine and scope the use cases that will create the greatest value for their businesses, select, train, and fine-tune the right models, define strategies to overcome technical or business challenges, build proof-of-concepts, and manage the scalable machine learning lifecycle to deliver robust, production-ready solutions.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant working experience, or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent with 5+ years of working experience.Experience related to machine learning, deep learning, NLP, CV, GNN, or distributed training.5+ years of relevant experience in developing and deploying large scale machine learning or deep learning models and/or systems into production, including batch and real-time data processing.English B2+PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPh.D.
degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, operations research, or in a highly quantitative field.Experience related to AWS services such as SageMaker, EMR, S3, DynamoDB, and EC2.Working knowledge of generative AI and hands-on experience in prompt engineering, deploying, and hosting Large Foundational Models.Spanish B2+ is a plus.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
