Application Engineer Manager: Physical Design - Synthesis and Digital Implementation to work with us in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
As an Application Engineer, you will be part of the Global Customer Success (GCS) team in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
The GCS team works with Digital, Analog, Verification, and Systems tools.
Job Responsibilities: Help customers in enhancing their productivity, debug complex issues and provide solutions in the digital tools & flows.Work closely with R&D and Product Engineering to identify and prioritize product improvement initiatives.Establish technical credibility and rapport with the customer and become the go-to expert for all their technical inquiries and support.Assume a technical leadership role in the team.Ensure high-quality support to customers.Create high-impact knowledge content, tool adoption kits, and other documents to increase self-service for customers.Collaborate with worldwide AE teams, mentor team members, and participate in knowledge sharing.Partner with sales & TFO teams to help drive account support strategy.Produce out-of-the-box solutions to customer problems using tool capabilities or scripting techniques.Deploy ML-based Solutions to improve productivity and PPA.Narrow down complex problems and ensure quality CCRs for R&D resolution.Minimum Requirements: Complete Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics or related fields.Experience in Digital Implementation flows on advanced nodes.Expertise in one or more domains – Synthesis/Physical Design - Place & Route/STA.Knowledge of scripting languages & Flow development is a plus.Excellent debugging skills and ability to separate critical issues from trivial ones.Experience in leading a small to mid-size team of engineers is a plus.Additional Job Details: Employment category: CLT.Employment term: 40 hours/week.This position is based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.Competitive benefits.About Cadence Design Systems: Cadence is the only company that provides the expertise and tools, IP, and hardware required for the entire electronics design chain.
