Description:As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless transition from our existing transactional system to the new one. Your primary focus will be on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)—a critical process that underpins the success of our migration project.?? Your Responsibilities:Data Extraction: Retrieve data from our current transactional system (MS SQL Server 2019) using SQL queries. Understand the schema, relationships, and business logic governing the data.Transformation Logic: Develop efficient and robust transformation logic to convert raw data into the required format for the new transactional system. Optimize performance by identifying bottlenecks and streamlining the ETL pipeline.Refactoring: Revise the existing SQL codebase for improved maintainability, performance, and ease of rerunning. Implement best practices, modularize code, and enhance error handling.Iterative Approach: Design the process to be iterative, allowing us to adapt to changing requirements and continuously improve the quality of our data outputs.
