Full Stack PHP EngineerPosition summary:Our partner, a technology company provider of corporate housing is looking to add a Senior Software Engineer with experience in JavaScript frameworks. In this role you will be responsible to develop, design, and maintain software applications from back to end. You will be working with an amazing team to increase efficiency ensure scalability and security of the software applications, meanwhile you get the opportunity to challenge and grow your technical and interpersonal skills. A strong candidate should have excellent organization, communication and problem-solving abilities.Experience and Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science.5+ years of experience building open-source applications using JavaScript and PHPExperience with Agile processes and stories. (Certification preferred)Experience working in the e-commerce field.Experience with Software Development LifecycleAbility to work independently and collaborate with cross functional teamsTechnology Skills and Strengths:JavaScript Frameworks (Node, React, Angular)PHP frameworks (Symfony preferred)APIsREST APIsMongo DBAWSKubernetesSDLCUnit testingPrimary Job Responsibilities:Developing and maintaining web applications: you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying web applications using JavaScript and PHP.Collaborating with cross-functional teams: you will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build and maintain web applications that meet the needs of the business and the users.Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code: you will write code that is easy to understand and maintain, and that can be scaled to meet the needs of growing applications.Debugging and troubleshooting: you will be responsible for identifying and fixing bugs in the code, and troubleshooting issues that arise in production environments.Staying up to date with emerging technologies: you will stay informed about new technologies and trends in web development and identify opportunities to improve existing applications or build new ones using cutting-edge tools and techniques.Implementing new features on existing software products by solving complex implementation problems and making the appropriate technical decisions.
