ITTConnect is seeking a Microsoft 365 Collaboration Engineer to work remotely for a client in the US.
This is a position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries.
Job location : Remote, work from home anywhere in Brazil, following US Eastern time .
Enterprise Collaboration Team responsible for design, implementation, and support of our Microsoft 365 environments.
The primary focus for this position will be Microsoft 365 administration where they will be expected to be a subject matter expert in multiple systems.
In addition, this individual must be a highly motivated self-starter capable of simultaneously prioritizing and managing a variety of complex tasks and support activities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements Minimum 10 years of IT experience 5+ years of Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, One Drive, Office and other 365 applications Experience with Microsoft 365 Tenant Security Hardening and Best Practices Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure Active Directory) Proven user administrator experience with user accounts, licenses, permissions, and groups Experience with Microsoft Exchange Online including mailbox administration, distribution list management, and calendar administration Proficiency in SharePoint Online in a retail environment including site management, permissions, web parts and general troubleshooting Teams administration experience including audit cycles and governance activities General understanding of PowerShell environment and command execution Experience troubleshooting client-side applications including Windows and Mac Demonstrated understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting experience Ability to manage ticket queues and vendor escalations Working knowledge of workstation operating systems, registry settings, and logging Ability to interact with end users to provide technical support and gather feedback Desire and ability to learn and support new technologies Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Must possess strong organization skills, including a keen attention to detail Ability to write and maintain PowerShell Scripts and scripting environments Working knowledge of on-premise Active Directory Experience with AvePoint or Purview Governance Tools Experience with AvePoint Governance Tooling is a plus External Guest Audit 3rd Party App Consent Automation Retirement of Cloud Service Accounts (move to application registrations) Public and Large 365 Group Hardening Disable Legacy Auth Protocols in 365
