Join us in shaping our future – and yours.What you will doThe SR PRIVACY LAWYER LATAM is responsible for supporting the business in privacy-related initiatives, advising on new laws and regulations, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements, promoting privacy awareness through training and campaigns, and supporting the DPO with reports to authorities.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Support Provide support to regional leaders, suppliers, and customers regarding data protection and privacy.Respond to inquiries from third parties regarding the terms of data privacy documentation.Guidance on Laws and Regulations Stay up-to-date on the latest data privacy regulations in Latin America.Provide guidance to the team on how to comply with these regulations.Drafting, Reviewing, and Negotiating Agreements Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with third parties, including suppliers, customers, and partners.
This role will support both LATAM and Global from a contract escalation process perspective.Develop and deliver training.
Develop one-pagers, playbooks, and guides.DPO Support Support the DPO with reports to authorities.Organize, evaluate, and review data privacy documents and the maturity of the data privacy program.Manage ROPA, PIA, and OT related aspects.What we are looking forRequired Qualifications2-3 years of experience practicing privacy law in LATAM.University/Bachelor's Degree in Law.In-depth knowledge of LATAM privacy laws and regulations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Desired QualificationsExperience in drafting and executing complex legal documents such as contracts from a privacy perspective.Previous experience in Law Firms as a Privacy lawyer.Fluent in English.
