It's our R&D teams that ensure our company stays at the forefront of innovation, investigating and making use of the latest technology in order to enable Electrolux to keep delivering outstanding experiences.What you'll do:As a R&D Engineer, you will work alongside the R&D Electronics team, driving the implementation and execution of electronic solutions for Electrolux home appliances. We'll help you go higher than ever before, and you'll help Electrolux keep shaping living for the better - one product at a time.In detail, you will:Develop electronic solutions (hardware and software) for home appliances of several product lines, aligned with the business area's generation plan;Elaborate full documentation for electronic boards, using software for electronic boards development (e.g. Altium, Orcad);Prepare Hardware and Software prototypes, and test and validate those available tools (debuggers, oscilloscope, etc.);Write firmware for microcontrollers of different architectures in C/C++ languages;Define accurate costs for parts and processes through Cost Modeling and other assessments tools;Keep clear communication, engagement, collaboration and alignment within different areas of the company and suppliers.As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).Who you are:You have:Bachelor's degree in Electric, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering or related areas;Experience with developing electronic boards (user interfaces, power controls);Experience with developing embedded firmware with C/C++ languages;Experience with project management;Knowledge in software for electronic boards development (Altium, Orcad or similar);Basic Office skills;Advanced English.Where you'll be:You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant in Curitiba.
