Reporting to the Business Unit Director, the Product Manager will establish appropriate procedures, systems, metrics and infrastructures to support the business needs.Essential Duties and Job FunctionsEnsures that all marketing activities are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.Build and implement marketing plan for Virology products.Leads marketing tactical plan implementation.Analyses complex problems and situations, provides logical recommendations and leads any required action planning.Prepare and delivery national and international presentations.Develops digital marketing initiatives, determines metrics for program success, and evaluates performance against metrics.Sets priorities in circumstances of continued complex and conflicting requirements.Takes a lead role in representing company at professional events and promotes company products at such eventsDefines operational plan for delivering against marketing strategy and drives implementation by engaging external agencies.Responsible for establishing superior working relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other relevant stakeholders (eg. Payers, etc.) locally and nationally,.Determines the types of market research tools best suited to provide meaningful data and presents the implications of market research results to senior management. Reviews legal and regulatory guidelines of external agencies to conduct scenario planning for marketing objectives.Frequently interacts with other functions to optimize collaboration between the department and other groups. Independently makes evaluations of how the department can best support other groups.Frequently interaction with Field Force to lead and optimize collaboration between both on marketing strategic plan implementation.May be viewed asa brand expert for a product and sought for advice.Leverages primary and secondary market research and analytics critical to directing brand strategies and optimizing marketing tactics.Lead the brand development and implementation processes, potentially presenting recommendations to executive leadership when relevant.Represents the department as a member of a cross-functional project team providing guidance, insight and recommendations relative to the goals and objectives of the Marketing function.Accountable for successful management of department projects with an ability to push a project to completion.Experience, Skills and KnowledgeMust have experienced as a product manager for more than 03 years.Must have excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and influencing skills.Must have any knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Ability to identify rising issues / solutions / opportunities and is able to develop innovative strategies to optimize these.Strong experience in digital initiatives ? awareness campaignExcellent analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and understand complex issues and problems, and interpret information in a manner that provides appropriate recommendations to senior management and across functional areas.Must be very familiar with industry trends and remain current with competitor's resources and practices.Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams or work groupsExcellent interpersonal skills with ability to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among different departments.Must have an in depth understanding of relevant marketplace for their role.Must be able to travel extensively as dictated by business need.Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.Must have good conversational and written English skills.For Current Gilead Employees and Contractors:
