ROLE STATEMENT
The TE Connectivity Energy Business Unit is currently seeking a Senior Manager Sales to lead commercial activities associated with Utility product lines for the LAM region. This role will report to the regional Vice President and General Manager of the Energy business unit.
In this role, you will serve on the AMS leadership team. The Energy business unit sells low to high voltage products to connect cables, protect and insulate power equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead our sales team in LAM with a focus on customer success and loyalty.
Drive revenue growth through LAM account management excellence and thought leadership in select end markets.
Partner with customers across the LAM region and collaborate with Strategy and Business Development, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Regional sales leaders to develop and execute the BU Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy.
Bring a strategic growth-oriented mindset, excellent commercial acumen, and leadership experience to inspire and motivate a large regional sales team in a fast-paced environment.
KEY EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Success in the role requires extensive experience in the Utility Sales Market in Latin America and the Caribbean. Additionally, experience managing and nurturing remote teams to drive sales growth is essential.
Degree in Electrical Engineering, complemented by a degree in Administration or an MBA.
Minimum of 10 years of experience with direct reports in Commercial, Product Management, and/or Sales.
Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English (speaking, reading, and writing).
Proven ability to manage a Sales Organization, develop teams, provide feedback, and motivate sales teams to achieve performance goals.
Strong technical background in Electrical Products, with experience presenting technical and commercial information to upper management.
Broad experience in the Utility Electrical segment across Latin America and the Caribbean.
High levels of conceptual thinking, problem structuring, analysis, and cross-functional team leadership.
