Maybe it's you we are looking for in our global Tax team, as our new Senior Tax Analyst.
Purpose of the Position The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for managing a range of tax projects and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
To guarantee all indirect tax requirements are being properly and timely covered according to Brazilian legislation.
To identify and mitigate risks caused by internal and external changes due to the changes in the market.
This position plays a vital role in tax planning, reporting, and analysis as well as supporting the tax compliance process.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide tax advice and guidance on various business transactions while ensuring alignment with the company's overall tax strategy.
Main Responsibilities: Responsible to calculate all indirect taxes( IPI, ICMS, ISS, PIS, COFINS).
Responsible to calculate and submit EFD REINF, SPED Fiscal, EFD contribuições, FCI, DCTF WEB, DIRF and CIAP.
Checking report for withholding tax from suppliers, update J1BTAX table according to exceptions .
Responsible to analyse the contracts with service providers to classify the correct tax applied..
Calculate the correct tax for foreign services Support customer service to issue the invoices to the customers in order to avoid tax mistakes.
Implementing projects ( SAP, Tax tools, KPIs, new tax calculation, etc) Supporting internal and external audits to obtain clean opinions.
Conduct research on various tax issues and provide recommendations to management Support tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities Assist in implementing tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities Collaborate with the global tax team to design and improve tax processes Provide analysis and insights on tax implications related to business transactions Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and their potential impacts on the business Impact of the Position The Senior Tax Analyst is crucial for ensuring that the company adheres to tax regulations while maximizing tax benefits.
By providing critical analysis and guidance on tax matters, the Senior Tax Analyst contributes to the company's overall financial health and regulatory compliance.
To lead the right tax calculation for indirect tax, ancillary obligation in order to avoid penalties and reputational issues with Brazilian government.
Working Relationships Cross-functional teams Tax authorities External tax advisors Internal relationships will be with internal stakeholders ( HR, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Accounting, Treasury, procurement, legal, production, global tax team and others.
External relationships will be consultant companies, audit, customer agent.
Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax analysis or a similar role Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret complex tax laws and communicate them effectively to non-tax stakeholders Proficiency in tax software and MS Office applications Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously The ability to read, speak, and write fluently in English (additional languages are a plus) UPLOAD RESUME/CV IN ENGLISH Benefits WHY ENVALIOR?
