The Staff Accountant will work with a team of accounting professionals to support the following;Verify the accurate recognition of prepaid and accruals specific to field and branch operationsPerform monthly reviews of prepaids and accruals to ensure accuracy and completenessRecord insurance reserve adjustments and maintain supporting documentationOffer analysis and insight to various functions to support growth initiatives in the businessAlign with accounting leadership as necessary to ensure intercompany balances are accurateWork with FP&A business partners for development of accurate forecast and analysisWork with manager on assigned controls and ensure controls are in compliance with company policy with a focus on a risk-based approachAssist with the identification & implementation of areas for efficiency, automation and acceleration within the close processPrepare balance sheet reconciliations and detailed fluctuation analysis for accounting leadershipEnsure security and integrity of financial informationAssist with Internal and External AuditsPerform all other duties as assignedRequired Experience1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance fieldsExperience with multi-unit organizationRequired Leadership Traits and CharacteristicsProven ability to develop strong working relationships with leaders and act as a partner on all financial related decisions.Thrive in a fast paced and changing environment while maintaining focus on delivering repeatable, reliable solutions with flawless execution and superior customer service.Ability to work independently, setting own priorities and objectives with leadership support.Skilled at focusing on desired results, determining what is important and urgent, identifying next steps, and effectively meeting deadlines and achieving desired results.Ability to maintain highly confidential information.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Formal Education, Qualifications or TrainingBachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field or equivalent relevant experience - RequiredMasters in finance, accounting or related field - PreferredWhy Choose Us?A career with the Rentokil family of companies can be a professional trajectory filled with opportunity.
