You'll be responsible for defining the technology and approach, designing solutions that enable more tools and automation-based verification solutions to be leveraged by our Platform QA and Engineering teams.
Working closely with Development and Test leadership, you will prioritize and lead a team of QA Engineers in building and maintaining our internal test infrastructure and custom tools & tests.What you'll achieveDefine the architecture for our central test framework, partnering with QA and Dev leaders in defining ongoing requirementsBuild a suite of services and tests that provide ongoing verification of all our Platform Engineering projects and middle-ware toolsSupport a growing set of QA Engineers across various responsibilities, from framework creation and maintenance to building advanced testing solutions and scriptsDefine tooling and solutions that serve as best practices for Game QA automation effortsBe part of the team defining the overall Fortis QA advanced test strategy for all projectsWhat You'll Need to Be SuccessfulProficiency in programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Python) and experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) and Node.js.Experience in building or extending automation frameworks using libraries such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium WebDriver.Knowledge of AWS cloud services, including S3, EC2, and experience with messaging services.Familiarity with RDBMS such as Postgres, preferably with the ability to write SQL queries.
