Senior SOC Analyst - Connected Vehicle Security A challenging and rewarding opportunity to join a leading automotive company and protect the future of mobility.
As a senior SOC analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats targeting the connected vehicle ecosystem.
You will work closely with the security operations center (SOC) team, the vehicle engineering team, and the external partners to ensure the security and safety of our customers and their vehicles.
You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of the SOC processes, tools, and capabilities.
Responsibilities Perform real-time threat hunting, analysis, and response on the connected vehicle network and infrastructure.
Identify and escalate security incidents and coordinate the incident response process.
Develop and maintain threat intelligence feeds, indicators of compromise, and threat profiles.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on the connected vehicle systems and components.
Provide security guidance and recommendations to the vehicle engineering team and the external partners.
Prepare and deliver security reports and presentations to the management and the stakeholders.
Research and evaluate emerging security trends, technologies, and best practices in the automotive industry, applying this knowledge to enhance the company's cybersecurity posture and resilience.
Mentor and coach junior SOC analysts and provide feedback.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field.
Experience in security operations, threat analysis, or incident response.
Strong knowledge of connected vehicle security, network security, cloud security, cryptography techniques and IoT security.
Proficient in security tools and platforms, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewall, VPN, etc.
Experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools and methodologies.
Ability to perform security analysis and investigations using various data sources and techniques.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks in complex automotive /embedded systems.
A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the rapidly evolving field of vehicle cybersecurity.
Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GCIH, GCIA, or OSCP are preferred.
Good English communication skills (writing and speaking).
