Role TypeThis is a full-time, contract position.Role DescriptionThe digital marketing strategist is responsible for ongoing analysis, setting digital marketing strategy, and overseeing the execution of strategy on behalf of our clients. On occasion, the strategist will help with execution and will regularly speak with clients regarding our approach and specific strategic recommendations.They will work closely with the project manager to ensure that work is moving through the pipeline and is communicated to our clients every week.ResponsibilitiesClient Communication (video conferencing, email & Loom)Client StrategyUnderstand client initiatives and goals.Analyze clients' marketing plans and set digital marketing strategies to better connect clients with their audience and grow revenue.Pitch fresh and innovative ideas to clients.Oversee Marketing SpecialistsPerform quality control and provide feedback to team on how to improve outputMeet regularly with team members to track and discuss progress toward each client's goals.Train team members on channel strategy and how each channel works together to drive growth.Ensure specialists are following process and reviewing/updating on a regular basis.Build and maintain good relationships with team membersPersonal educationExpand knowledge of digital marketing principles by certifying (and recertifying each year) in the following areas:Google Analytics (GA4)Meta BlueprintGoogle AdsPinterest AcademyInternal & External Report CreationRequired SkillsNative-level fluency in written and spoken EnglishResults & deadline drivenExcellent written & verbal communicationProven track record of delivering year-over-year growth for ecommerce brandsThorough understanding of how all marketing channels work together to drive growthUnderstanding key ecommerce metrics and how to use them to drive growth (AOV, LTV, Repurchase Rate, CAC Payback Period, etc.)Being personable – able to build relationships with client and team membersStrong presentation skillsAble to manage the workload independentlyExperienceMinimum of 4 years of digital marketing experienceMinimum of 3 years working on ecommerce brandsMinimum of 2 years of Google Analytics experienceMust be GA4 Certified before beginning engagementHigh-level understanding of Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, Email Marketing, SMS Marketing & ShopifyMinimum of 2 years experience working remotely.Communication ExpectationsCommunication will take place primarily through email video conferences (Google Meet), email, and Google Chat.Be available from 9-5pm Mountain Standard Time.
