**Job Description Summary**:
Deploy the quality policy of GE POWER CONVERSION to ensure the quality contractual requirements of the projects are met.
Act as a change agent for improving the processes and monitoring the adherence of the Quality Requirements.
Ensure Quality Assurance / Quality Control performance of suppliers to prevent any cost of poor quality resulting from Manufacturing, Construction & Commissioning activities performance.
**Essential Responsibilities**:
- Ensure that the site Quality Management system is compliant with any regulatory and GE requirements as well as any applicable codes & standards.
- Ensure overall quality performance meets GE requirements.
- Provide Quality inputs to project and site management to support on-time and in-budget execution of the project.
- Ensure site documentation is generated, distributed, updated and archived in accordance with the Manufacturing, Construction & Commissioning Management system requirements.
- Carry out internal and contractor quality audits;
- Assist and coordinate any planned external audits.
- Ensure that Quality Control processes are fully implemented and continuously monitored.
- Ensure that inspection / testing during Manufacturing, Erection and Commissioning are conducted, documented, checked and validated;
- Participate / supervise acceptance testing and/or approval by customers, third parties and governmental authorities whenever required.
- Ensure that the final QA/QC documentation is continuously compiled by the Subcontractors and the involved GE team in accordance with GE and client requirements for final hand-over.
- Ensure that the NCR (Non-Conformance Report) System, and any other tools are fully deployed at site and that the users are adequately supported and trained.
- Ensure compliance with Quality road map assessment requirements and drive the close-out of any CAR (Corrective Action Request) raised.
- Act and drive the resolution of quality issues.
**Qualifications / Requirements**:
- University degree in an Engineering or Technical certificate (Production, Electrical, Automation)
- Fluent verbal and written skills in English
- Availability to travel 80% time
- Experience in Electrical System
**Desired Characteristics**:
- Knowledge of Electrical panels (Inverter, low voltage, medium voltage)
- Knowledge in Transformers, Reactors
- Knowledge in E-HOUSES
- Strong, proven experience as Quality Specialist;
- Good oral and written communication skills;
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems, Technical Regulations and Standards
- Change agent, questioning the status quo to achieve business targets
- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to motivate others to achieve results
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
- Committed to process improvement with the ability of creating out of the box solutions
