The SC commercial operation analyst will work in partnership with the SC commercial production and wells team to achieve common goals.
It is also part of the remit of this role to ensure the Category Management Contracting Process (CMCP) and Request to Pay (RtP) processes are followed and managed effectively to ensure a smooth and compliant outcomes.AccountabilitiesApply the CMCP process and C&P operations practices while focusing on contribution to the business drivers and not compromising on compliance for HSSE, E&C, Code of Conduct, Laws and regulationsUnderstand the changes in the business, business drivers and external environment and trigger adjustment of supply chain end to end processes, category strategies and contractsLead and support performance of key operational contracts including driving sourcing excellence across all contractsDrive total cost reductions and value towards business aspirational targetsIdentify opportunities in the category and contract portfolio to create more value and/or to eliminate wasteResponsible for theend to endcategory management for the assigned categories, which includes building the category strategy with support from peers and key stakeholdersDevelop and maintain strong network in the market, being fully aware of supplier developments and opportunitiescoming up in the market and develop the category capability across the local supply chain communityResponsibleforbuildinghighly collaborative relationships with key supply chain stakeholders and business partnersUnderstand the changes in the business, business drivers and external environment and trigger adjustment of supply chain end to end processes, category strategies and contractsDetermine the right commercial models (e.g.output-based contract) to encourage the right behaviors and expectations from suppliers to optimize alignment of supply chain and asset deliveryDrive continuous improvement by replicating game changer improvements and recommended practicesFacilitate discussions on process performance and inefficienciesIdentify initiatives to drive simpler, more effective contracting and procurement processesSupport end-to-end Request to Pay process including interface with accounts payable, when neededProvide insight into Business organization & ways of working, ensure changes meet needs of Line of BusinessSkills & RequirementsMinimum 3+ years of related role experience; supply chain experienceA degree level (Business/Finance/Engineering) or proven long term comprehensive experience within CPProven track record of execution excellence & delivering results.
MCIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Qualification would be preferred but not mandatoryDemonstrate knowledge of both Upstream Operations (offshore, shore-based, Wells, Projects, Production) and Upstream business priorities and strategic intent to adapt and optimize to fluctuating business demandsUncompromising on HSSE, ethics & compliance is a ?must have?
