Product Portfolio ManagerWe are looking for a Product Portfolio Manager to lead the Customer Unit relationship, drive early engagement, and secure E2E portfolio requirements and visibility.
This opportunity is for a very visible and high impact position with broad responsibility for relationships with Sales and Solutions teams, optimize customer product portfolio, secure portfolio performance, and implement suitable supply chains.
The role also includes reviewing and analyzing the Customer product portfolios, identifying trends, drive supply segmentation opportunities, monitor and communicate portfolio adherence, and delivering actionable items and recommendations based on findings.
In addition, you will have the ability to work in a virtual global team and manage cross-functional relationships, while driving business improvements and increasing the customer experience.
This role is within BNEW Group Supply.Responsibilities:
- Developing and growing strong and transparent Customer Unit relationship* Secure early engagement with Customer Unit (Sales and Solutions)* Monitor customer and business trends* Establish and maintain excellent internal network with stakeholders in Supply, pre-Sales, Bid Office, Engineering, Strategic Product Management, Product Development Units, and Supply Hubs* Secure Customer portfolio(s), drive life-cycle management with key focus in phase in/out, and influence product selection during solution definitions, including proposal for production portfolio updates* Lead portfolio adherence discussions and drive improvement actions in a cross-functional environment* Drive flow-oriented process and performance improvements* Investigate opportunities for cost and lead time reductions, engaging and driving cross-functional teams, including localization, trade agreements, tax benefits, scrap avoidance, inventory reduction, etc.
* Drive the implementation of Customer Specific Solution (CSS) into the Supply Hubs, including customer requirements, pilot execution, prototype approval, cost model and industrialization
- Project Management Knowledge is a plus, PMO Certificate as well.Key Qualifications:
