This role is a member of the company's management team and works closely with the Country Manager reporting directly to the Regional LATAM Supply Chain Head. The Supply Chain Operations Manager is responsible for contributing to the optimal operational logistics continuity of Brazil, with a strong focus of production on customer needs, strategies, and guidelines.
**What you'll do**:
- Direct and organize the logistics, warehouse, transportation and distribution operations of the company, guaranteeing the efficiency and continuity of service management.
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing the supply chain processes and reducing operational costs at a national level.
- Implement regional strategies at a local level, deploying and looking for the best practices that can be applied within the national market.
- Work with the Brazilian management to define achievable goals and give the necessary support to help the operation grow.
- Work with the regional team to transmit the local challenges and find proactive solutions that improve service standards for the whole operational chain.
- Monitor supply chain KPIs and continuously drive improvements to increase performance and efficiency in Brazil.
- Organize and manage the team and resources efficiently.
**What you'll bring**:
- Completed degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or similar disciplines represented in Supply Chain.
- Relevant experience in Supply Chain and Logistics activities, hopefully in a multinational company.
- Desirable SC certification: CPIM, CSCP, SCPro
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to help create positive relationships with the team, internal stakeholders, and external partners such as vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to challenge the status quo, initiate, lead, support and facilitate changes in operations, going beyond delivering strategic objectives for the organization.
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of the terms managed in continuous improvement processes.
