In this role, you will join the ExxonMobil Supply Chain Organization in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.
What you will do
Planning and Strategy: Develop, implement, and comply with corporate supply chain strategies to improve performance and reduce costs.
This includes forecasting demand, planning inventory levels, and coordinating material movement between plants and supply points (domestic, imports/exports).
Risk Management: Closely monitor key supply chain indicators and identify potential disruption risks in the supply chain (such as supplier disruptions, transportation delays, over/understocking, weather events).
Collaboratively develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and supply chain disruptions.
Host and participate in Quick Response Teams (QRTs) as required.
Vendor Management: Ensure flawless supply chain operation in compliance with EMQL controls, procedures, and legal requirements.
Maintain relationships to ensure service is provided with quality and in a timely manner.
Collaboration: Work with counterparts in other regions to plan and coordinate inter-regional product movements.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, exercising informal leadership to drive the organization toward common goals and proper prioritization.
Customer Focus: Understand customer needs and sense of urgency to provide excellent service.
Support customer inquiries related to the supply chain, ensuring on-time, in-full, and on-spec deliveries.
Data Analysis and Technology Integration: Use data analytics to track performance, identify inefficiencies, make informed decisions, and drive continuous improvement to enable tactical decision-making.
Maximize IT systems by supporting interface usage, maintaining good housekeeping of master data, and managing boards effectively.
About you
We are looking for a Supply Chain Professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience and with strong problem-solving skills to quickly address and resolve unexpected supply chain challenges.
The ideal candidate shall be flexible and adaptable in dynamic environments, with a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
Technical Requirements include:
Mandatory Skills:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, foreign trade, or related areas.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions, including understanding market trends, forecasting demand, and optimizing inventory levels.
Familiarity with supply chain management software, ERP systems, and other technological tools to manage logistics, track shipments, and improve efficiency.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Flexibility with work hours to align with the US CST time zone.
Fluent in English and Portuguese (written & spoken).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP, Celonis, and/or Salesforce.
Desirable experience in marine, trucking logistics, and/or inventory management.
Proficiency in Spanish (written & spoken).
