We develop data and video analytics platforms, building on state-of-the-art technologies including AI, machine learning, big data, and cloud services to enable the digitalization of mobility.We are looking for a System Engineer to join our team!The System Engineer ensures that the Road Side technical solution system meets the expectations and requirements of our customers in terms of the best Quality-Price ratio. E2E responsible for the Road Side technical solution from the beginning (analysis of the solution) to the end (commissioning and transfer to operations).Your responsibilities:Design, planning, execution, and ownership of requirement engineering for Road Side toll collection systems.End-to-End Technical Road Side Tolling Solution Ownership.Technical project support and responsibility within bid and implementation phases.Functional analysis and architecture including all system functions, functional interfaces of the road side system in close cooperation with Lead System Engineers.Requirements engineering, preparation of specifications, and system processes for road side toll collection and telematic systems.Technical interface with internal and external technical resources for a particular subsystem.Definition and creation of Scope of Works for potential subcontractors.Close cooperation with developers, infrastructure, operation, technical customer support, and project management department to ensure proper implementation.Work in correlation and direct cooperation with regional sales teams, bid & proposals managers, and project managers supporting Toll Collection opportunities: pre-sales, bidding & proposals, and project deployment processes.Collaboration with Project Managers to provide estimations and develop an overall implementation solution plan.Coordinate with Kapsch applications centers that technical offer and cost analysis are coherent with bid and proposals requirements accomplishing customer-defined scopes and objectives.Maintain a clear understanding of the status of Toll Collection presented offers, opportunities, and projects.Understand market and technology evolution related to Kapsch Toll Collection portfolio.Responsible for continuous self-training on Kapsch solutions.Responsible to accomplish Kapsch procedures related to system engineering processes.Detect commercial opportunities within opportunities, bids, technical analysis, project deployment with potential and current customers and develop them in conjunction with the sales team (Upselling).Understand internal processes and information flows to increase team productivity.Facilitate and promote good relationships with colleagues and other team members.Generate synergies with Kapsch support areas.Your profile:Master's degree in system engineering, software architecture, computer science, information technology, electrical/electronic engineering, telematics, or similar.At least 2 years of system engineering experience in a professional environment.Experience in electronic toll collection or telematics preferred.IPMA Project Management Certification (level D or C, or equivalent) is desirable.Passion to drive collaboration and deliver high-quality highly complex projects across teams.Structured and solution-oriented.Strong analysis skills and detailed review of scopes and objectives.Advanced level of Portuguese, English and, Spanish medium to advance level is desirable.Flexibility and willingness to travel.Project delivery and implementation management experience is valuable.Our offer to you:An interesting full-time position within a global renowned family-owned company.
