System Programmer

Cybersecurity company is looking for a strong MF System Programmer Required Skills: Experience developing products for an ISV in a multitasking environment Strong knowledge of HLASM Strong knowledge of z/OS operating system and internals Knowledge of IMS DB/TM system internals Strong z/OS diagnosis and debugging skills Strong communication and design skills Preferred Skills: Experience with SRBs and 64-bit programming Experience with z/OS recovery environments and mechanisms Experience with C Knowledge of TCP/IP Knowledge of DB2 system internals Scope of Work: Research, design, and code new features for products in the IMS product line.
Create detailed designs based on research to be used in development and testing phases of the project.
Remain active in all parts of the product lifecycle and work with product management when necessary.
Work with members of the team to create new best of breed security-based products for z/OS.
