About This Opportunity
This position offers the opportunity to gain experience implementing and supporting high-volume, mission-critical data processing in a dynamic, constantly evolving business ecosystem.
The MFT Platform is in the early stages of the most significant reengineering effort since the platform's inception to support historic growth opportunities for the company.
This reimagining of the MFT Platform will be an important contributor to the successful realization of these opportunities for our business.
Responsibilities
Platform production support: monitoring process execution on the platform, expected file movements, and responding to any failure Alerts to remediate issues in a timely and effective manner restoring the platform to normal operation.
Friendly customer service in responding to client requests in the RITM queues for:
New process provisioning – collaborating with internal and external platform clients in the design and implementation of the file transfer portions of their business processes.
Current process issues and questions
Perform recurring technical support and maintenance of the platform such as server patching, and ad hoc requests, usually to respond to emergent threats and other issues.
Continually review the platform and team operations to improve platform:
Security
Monitoring and Alerting coverage, accuracy, and timeliness in reporting all process issues
Stability / Reliability
Qualifications
Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills including fluency in English written and verbal communications.
Self-starter who is resourceful and able to handle multiple work streams concurrently and deal with suddenly shifted priorities.
2 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration and related technologies:
Enterprise networking
PowerShell scripting
Cryptography management:
SSH Authentication
Security Certificate management
Open PGP encryption key management
2 years of experience with enterprise level Secure File Transfer (SFTP) protocol and platform support.
2 years of experience with Fortra Globalscape EFT platform including:
Product installation and upgrades
HA feature deployment and management
AWE rules and related rule features
API calls
1 year of experience with IBM Sterling Connect:Direct including Node setup and management.
Experience with Compliance and Audit is highly desired.
