Visit the company's new website at: WabtecCorp.com.Who will you work with?The intern will work directly with global Systems Engineers and Engineering Project Managers (Brazil, India, USA, among other small hubs around the world).How will you make a difference?As a member of the Systems Engineering team, you will be responsible for:Supporting project management activities directly with the Program Manager in the Engineering area.Updating Engineering Area Dashboards / Creating new indicator panels via Microsoft Power BI.Assisting Product/System Engineers in creating modification/revision orders of drawings, technical scopes, and specifications related to locomotive models and their components; assisting in reporting engineering area results and administrative processes (relationships with suppliers and internal customers) and meetings with internal and external stakeholders.Having the opportunity to follow the stages of managing a new locomotive development, attending product approval meetings, the process of creating and releasing drawings, NPIs, rework control, and validation tests.What do we want to know about you?Pursuing Engineering from the 3rd semester onward.Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, Macro).Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.Good oral and written communication.Intermediate English.Proactivity.Discipline, objectivity, and synthesis ability.Autonomy.Dynamism.Flexibility.Good interpersonal relationships.Prioritization sense.Passionate about change.Enthusiastic about new technologies.How will your day-to-day look?Manage and update project control indicators (Costs, Deliveries, and Quality).Manage new Locomotive projects with the Engineering Program Manager.Present project modifications/Reworks in internal committee, managing actions and their completion within the agreed timeframe.Issuing purchase requisitions for the Engineering department.Assisting systems/products engineers in locomotive validation tests.Our commitment to embracing diversity:Wabtec is a global company that invests not only in our products but also in our people, embracing diversity and inclusion.
