**Job Description**:
- The Systems Integration Specialist (MES- Manufacturing Execution System) will drive and advise the implementation of short interval control systems aimed optimising business processes for sustainable business results.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Contribute towards the vision and strategy for a Group-wide Short Interval Control System approach and Control framework;
- Advise on the selection and use of specialist Short Interval Control System technology (Short Interval Control Technical/ Dynamic Process Control Simulation technology, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Decision Support Systems and other Control Systems) for site the commissioning and use thereof;
- Utilise specialist vendor systems knowledge to manage vendor installation teams to effectively deliver on projects;
- Increase "the value in use" of Short Interval Control and Manufacturing Execution Systems technologies by replicating best practise across the Group;
- Develop the skills base of site Short Interval Control and Manufacturing Execution teams in the effective use of systems technologies;
- Integrate the Short Interval Control and Manufacturing Execution Systems framework with the Anglo Operating Model on site level;
- Advise on the identification of Short Interval Control and Manufacturing Execution Systems driven business opportunities at site level;
- Evaluate / test new system features on a simulation environment, including documentation;
- Visibly demonstrate SHE values and principles.
**Qualifications
- Requirements**:
- An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors / Honours degree or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline (Engineering, Systems or equivalent);
- A postgraduate qualification (Masters / Doctoral degree or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline OR a proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity - Desirable;
- A relevant Knowledge and experience of mining and processing methods and the practical execution thereof;
- English and Portuguese full proeficient;
- Adequate local Credential - If applicable.
