T-Bar & Grill Door Person - Part-Time (Winter)Description: You are comfortable and confident in crowd control for a busy bar that is often at capacity. You can defuse any confrontational situation while maintaining a cool and calm demeanor. Your knowledge of the resort and ability to deal with guests will help you succeed in our company goals and mandate.Essential Functions:Deliver an "above and beyond" attitude to all guests while generating a feeling of being in the friendliest atmosphere on the planet.Control the atmosphere and intoxication levels in the bar.Ensure all patrons are of legal drinking age by requesting & inspecting identification.Watch and be alert for the potential of aggressive behavior from patrons.Efficiently and professionally diffuse any fights or altercations ASAP.Restrict or refuse admittance to patrons who are intoxicated.Assist with the set-up and clean-up of the bar.Learn knowledge of safety and security procedures for our operation and the resort.Take tickets or cash for special events and bands.Control the number of patrons entering to keep within the liquor license limit.Do what is necessary to ensure the safety of guests and staff alike.Work closely with resort security to maintain a fun, safe environment.Help with table maintenance in the room and assist bar staff when required.Experience/Requirements:Secondary Education Diploma or EquivalentMinimum two years of bouncer experience in a nightclub atmosphere.Able to diffuse and handle volatile situations and intoxicated patronsMust be able to stand for up to 8 hours and carry 50 lbs. Able to remove any person from the Saloon's premises.
