**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our team for a two-year fixed-term opportunity. This role is pivotal in managing the end-to-end recruitment process for senior, executive, and complex roles that are critical to the university's success. As a TA Business Partner, you will lead headhunting efforts, develop talent mapping strategies, and build strong talent pipelines within the academic and professional sectors.

**What Youll Do**
- Lead the sourcing, selection, and negotiation processes for key roles that drive the university's strategic goals.
- Partner closely with internal clients, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners to anticipate and plan future hiring needs.
- Build and maintain robust talent pipelines, leveraging your professional networks, attending industry events, and fostering partnerships with academic institutions.
- Provide expert advice on market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring practices.
- Mentor and support junior TA team members, sharing best practices to enhance overall team performance.
- Play a key role in continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring our recruitment processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with our university's values.

**About You**:
You will be passionate about recruitment and connecting talent with opportunities. More specifically, you will have
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources and/or demonstrated experience in Talent Acquisition.
- Proven success in engaging top talent for senior and executive appointments, ideally within the higher education sector.
- Expertise in headhunting and talent mapping for hard-to-fill roles.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a high level of professionalism.
- work between the hours of 7am to 7pm, and work overtime when required.

**Salary and benefits**:
Our staff benefit from flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work models, generous parental and carer's leave provisions, wellbeing initiatives, employee assistance programs and professional learning opportunities. This position is:

- Fixed term (24 Months), located at the Gold Coast Airport.
- HEW Level 8. The base salary ranges from $111,116 - $122,525 per annum, plus 17% employer's contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $143,354.
- Additional leave over Christmas / New Year period
- Free parking, fitness passport.
