Tax Accounting Manager

To support the local operation of our client – an European global leader designing and manufacturing machinery, systems and components - we are looking for a savvy: ACCOUNTING & TAX MANAGER based in São Paulo (Alphaville) Among others, your Mission shall entail: Financial Strategy & Analysis : Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to align with business objectives. Provide forward-looking financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to HQ and local management, delivering insights for strategic decision-making. Financial Control & Compliance : Establish and maintain robust financial controls, ensuring strict adherence to internal policies and external regulatory frameworks, including tax regulations. Continuously monitor financial performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational efficiency. Monthly Closing & Reporting : Oversee the monthly financial close, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements. Present key reports to HQ and stakeholders, swiftly resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity. Accounting Leadership and TAXES MANAGEMENT : holding a CRC (Brazilian Accounting certification), manage all ACCOUNTING and TAXES Management functions, ensuring full compliance with local and international accounting standards, while leading internal/external audits. Treasury & Liquidity Your Talent: Fluent English Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field ( Brazilian CRC is mandatory )8-10 years of finance/accounting/taxes experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles (preferably in the machinery parts sector or similar industries) Track-record in Small-Medium sized multinational operations is most appreciated Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Proven leadership and team management expertise Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems ( TOTUS/Logistics ) Agile, results driven and hands-on Ethic and reliable; Our client, renowned for its entrepreneurial, sustainable ethos and high-performance culture, fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace.
