About the roleThis is a 100% remote position for people located in Brazil. We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and detail-driven Tax Coordinator to join our awesome finance team.If you love the world of tax compliance, planning, and reporting, this role is calling your name! You'll be the go-to person for ensuring we follow all the local and international tax regulations while working with both internal teams and external tax authorities. From overseeing tax audits to implementing efficient strategies, you'll be at the forefront of optimizing tax processes, minimizing risks, and ensuring total compliance.What you will be doing:Manage and coordinate the company's tax compliance processes, including preparation and submission of tax returns (corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, etc.).Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax-related documentation, in compliance with local, state, and international regulations (ECF, EFD Contribuições, EFD Fiscal, REINF, DCTF, DCTFWeb, DAPI, GIA ST).Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their potential impact on the company's tax position.Lead and support tax audits, working closely with auditors and tax authorities to resolve any issues or inquiries.Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax savings and mitigate risks.Provide tax advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on various business transactions/new projects.Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations for all tax accounts.Manage the invoice registration process (accounts payable and receivable).Coordinate a team of 4 employees.What you´ll need to succeed in this role:In-depth knowledge of tax regulations, including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and transfer pricing.Experience with tax compliance software and ERP systems (Sankhya will be a plus).Advanced proficiency in Excel for tax reporting and analysis.Ability to interpret and apply tax legislation to specific business situations.Experience in managing tax audits and attending to tax assessments.Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in tax reporting and documentation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess tax risks and opportunities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Proactive and able to stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations.Leadership abilities with a collaborative approach to managing projects and initiatives.Qualifications:At least 7 years of experience in tax compliance, planning, or a related role within a corporate environment or tax consulting firm.Experience in managing both local and international tax matters.At least 1 year experience coordinating teams.Advanced English (mandatory).CRC certification is a plus.Why choose SandBox Engage?Sandbox Group is set to redefine learning through its portfolio of award-winning digital & physical products and services for kids, parents, and teachers.
