Fever has developed a proprietary technology that inspires a global community of over 125M people through personalized and curated experiences in their local city whilst empowering entertainment and event creators to reach new audiences and enhance their experience.Sounds amazing, right?ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Tax Specialist for the Latin America region, you will be playing a key role within Fever's Tax practice working closely with the Tax Manager and the rest of the team, helping with the global tax compliance and tax strategy of the Group.You will be expected to demonstrate ownership and proactivity getting things done in the tax area of a global high-growth business.
The key responsibilities are as follows:Assist in the indirect and direct tax compliance processes in all relevant jurisdictions for LATAMResearch and analyse specific indirect and direct taxation matters and provide tailored adviceIdentify risks and potential tax planning opportunitiesDetermine uncertain tax exposures and manage appropriate taxation provisioningCollaborate with third-party service providers as requiredWork with the Finance & Accounting teams to ensure adequate knowledge and application of taxation lawsSupport all indirect and direct tax audits/inquiries from tax authorities (alongside third-party providers and local finance teams)Preparation of applications for taxation rulings, tax incentives, and tax exemptions where availableProvision of advice to senior management on taxation risks and appropriate transaction structures concerning acquisitionsContribute to the improvements and solutions of tax processesABOUT YOUIn order to be successful in this role, you will:At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in taxation gained in practice or industryBachelor or Master degree in Finance, Tax, or LawProven tax knowledge and familiarity with other jurisdictionsYou are a detail-oriented and organised workerBe fluent in written and spoken English; Portuguese is a plusShare our culture i) see opportunity where others see obstacles, ii) be efficient, flexible, and proactive, iii) prioritize work and resources, iv) continuous improvement, v) follow up until it's done, and vi) be entrepreneurial and ambitiousBENEFITS & PERKSFever 40% discount: This discount is for personal use only.Free Candlelight Event: This voucher is for single use only and valid for 2 people.Health insurance: We offer private health insurance, managed by Amil.
