Job Description
As a Team Leader Stewarding, you are responsible for ensuring the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food processing facilities, as well as the operating equipment. Your role includes key responsibilities such as:
Supervising the duties of all stewarding department employees.Supervising the consumption of all stewarding chemicals on a daily basis.Supervising the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene, and quality level of products and services.Ensuring that all stewarding employees follow safety instructions whilst cleaning machinery.Conducting regular checks to ensure that service and kitchen operating equipment is properly cleaned.Controlling and documenting all outgoing equipment and ensuring the proper receiving upon return.Participating in the monthly and annual inventory and preparing payroll-related documents prior to their submission to the Department Head.Attending all regular Food & Beverage department meetings and conducting at least one monthly meeting with Stewarding employees to ensure open communication flow amongst the team.Assuring that the emergency exits are always in clean condition, free of any obstacles, and that the exit door is easy to open from inside.Qualifications
You should preferably have a diploma in hospitality or HSSC.At least 5 years of previous experience, with 1 year in a similar role.Good written and spoken English communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.
