As the primary interface between VTEX and our customers, the Field Software Engineer will guide customers to optimize their use of the VTEX platform, ensuring they leverage its full potential.
We are looking for a technology-driven individual, an exceptional problem solver with good communication skills, and the ability to ask probing questions to validate applications and find bugs.
You will work closely with the CX and Success teams, supporting customers with complex implementation issues and bug fixes, always being proactive.
A self-taught mindset, committed to finding the best solutions for our customers, is essential.
Responsibilities:
Provide timely and effective solutions to customer issues through Zendesk ticketing system, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Analyze and troubleshoot technical problems, collaborating with customers' and partners' teams when necessary.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation and functional requirements guides to assist customers and partners.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and the successful resolution of technical challenges.
Continuously update knowledge of VTEX platform features and capabilities to provide expert guidance to customers.
Who you are
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Knowledge in React and Next.js.
Knowledge in VTEX platform.
Experience using REST APIs and knowledge of GraphQL.
Experience with Postman or similar API development tools.
Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
Understanding of SEO principles and front-end website performance optimization is a plus.
Experience with VTEX Commerce platform and Zendesk or similar customer support platforms is a plus.
Digital commerce experience (preferred).
