The Technical Co-ordinator will be responsible for the work of a number of Technical Authors/Technical Officers and/or Junior Trainee Coating Engineers.
The role requires strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
You will also be the manager of documents and quality control, coordinating and managing the documentation deliverables and main client interface for documentation for projects executed in Brazil.
This involves ensuring smooth operations, efficient workflows, adherence to technical standards, procedures, client requirements, and CRCE best practices.
It should be noted that this role will involve extensive travel and extended stays in the UK for the first 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
Coordination of project document deliverables:
Overseeing technical project components to align with project objectives and timelines.
Facilitating communication between project teams and technical departments (EMEAA Region).
Coordinating the development and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation, including tracking systems and technical procedures.
Ensuring adherence to technical standards, regulations, and best practices.
Reviewing and approving technical documentation.
Supporting the development of team members to execute technical documentation.
Interface and relationship management with the client technical team.
Interface with 3rd party laboratories for activities that require testing.
Problem Solving:
Identifying and resolving technical issues and challenges.
Providing input to improve efficiency and productivity.
Providing technical support to team members.
Escalating any concerns that may impact project performance.
Project Management:
Assisting in project planning, bid input, scheduling, and execution (i.e., NOI, Lab Scopes, interface meetings).
Active involvement in budgeting and forecasting costs relevant to the department.
Monitoring relevant project progress and reporting on key metrics.
Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project success.
Administration:
Managing technical data and information.
Preparing reports and presentations as required.
Providing administrative support to the technical team.
Job Specific Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is preferable.
Strong technical knowledge.
Proficiency in desktop publishing.
Work Experience Required:
Extensive experience in a coating engineer or related role is preferable.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional fluency both written and verbal in English and Portuguese.
