Key Responsibilities
:
Lead the development and implementation of complex software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and cloud-based applications.
Architect and manage Google Cloud services including Cloud Functions, Dataflow, Firestore, and Pub/Sub.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
Advocate and enforce secure coding practices, integrating tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, and Nexus IQ for code quality and security.
Mentor and guide a team of developers, ensuring high standards of code quality and best practices.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support development and operational activities.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets business requirements.
Drive technical innovation and efficiency within the team, advocating for modern technologies and methodologies.
Manage the full software development lifecycle, from concept through to deployment and maintenance.
Perform code reviews, conduct technical discussions, and support agile methodologies.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members in both English and Portuguese.
Required Qualifications
:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Java and cloud technologies.
Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Functions, Dataflow, Firestore, and Pub/Sub.
Proficiency in CI/CD practices and tools, particularly Jenkins and GitHub.
Strong understanding of secure coding practices and experience with tools like SonarQube, Fortify, and Nexus IQ.
Expertise in writing unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
