This team interfaces with the entire organization for manufacturing process and materials development, engineering and design, prototype manufacturing, test and product certification.We want a rare mix of project, technical and communication excellenceAs Technical Lead you leverage your technical skills to be able to resolve challenges in the project based on solid engineering insight, and effectively document conclusions.
You have experience within project management duties, such planning, scope breakdown and resource estimation.
Your job will naturally entail a great deal of coordination, communication and technical assessments, where you in collaboration with Sales teams, Project Managers, Technical Managers and Subject Matter Experts identify milestones and drivers for the New Product Developments.In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for a large qualification and testing scope for a new product line within flexible pipes.
As Technical Lead you manage risk and find solutions within engineering, procurement, and production.
You will make sure that client specifications and relevant standards requirements are aligned and you respond to or coordinate customer interactions on the New Product Developments together with the team around it.In addition to having a solid technical background (M.Sc.
or PhD (Engineering) or the equivalent), you must be capable of the following:Effectively communicate with customers and a diverse project team that includes factory operators, engineers and specialists with international backgrounds (High level English skills required).Motivate and involve project team in technical issues, meetings, sub-suppliers etc.Leverage a strong and broad technical background that enables you to perform technical work yourself.We expect you to have an acute sense of technical possibilities and the ability to make correct assessments, and be aware of drivers, risks and consequences of choices and decisions.
As a person, you are self-driven, and have a natural ability to motivate others.
