Job Title: Technical Manager Report Line: CTO Location: Home based in Local region (Latin America) Job Responsibility: 1.Research on related standards of transmission and distribution system products 1)Interpretation of national or customer standards for external insulation products, acquisition of design technical information.
2)Master design specification, design procedure and design habit of insulation strings and Obtain the basic technical information required for products suitable for local markets.

Develop insulation products for transmission and distribution systems suitable for local markets 1)Participate in developing transmission and distribution insulator products, drawings, catalogues, cut-sheets and white papers for Latin American market.. 2)Participate in the completion of the composite line insulators and insulator strings product scheme qualification and laboratory test certification.
3)Participate in the development of local transmission market power solution product selection guidelines.

Conducting technical marketing 1) Coordinate with regional sales team to deliver product value and technical marketing, such as customer visits, customer Q&A sessions, product promotion sessions, customer technical seminars, etc.
2) Coordinate with regional sales team to cooperate with new customers, promote the certification project and pilot application project of transmission line insulators, etc.

Conducting technical support during routine business 1) Assist sales to answer customer's technical questions and provide business support for localized distribution solutions.
2) Participate in site engineering investigation and technical solution confirmation for power distribution solution pilot promotion project.
3) Assist sales and experts to complete the new product qualification review of power distribution solutions.
Qualifications: 1.Bachelor's degree or above in engineering.
Major in electrical or mechanical engineering will be considered an advantage.
2.More than 5 years of experience in the design and development of insulator products for power transmission overhead lines, as well as experienced in customer qualification certification and product value promotion for Line Insulator, Line Post Insulator for transmission application.
3.Have a deep understanding of the business operation of all parties involved in the power industry, especially the transmission product industry.
4.Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
5.Hard-working, Goal-oriented and Innovative Language request: Spanish and Portuguese.
Fluent in English.
Knowledge 1.Possess understanding of local transmission network system specifications and design practices.
2.Familiar with transmission external insulation products of IEC standards such as IEC 61952, IEC 61109, etc.
3.Have knowledge of product costs and other related commercial information.
4.Familiar with external insulation product technical parameters, product structure, manufacturing process of insulator.
5.Familiar with finite element software tools and 3D CAD suites will be considered an advantage.
